The team at Mustang360 has done some amazing builds! In July of 2018, we sponsored the build of this stunning 1967 Mustang Fastback. We offer many products for the Ford Mustang, covering many years. The team at Mustang360 focused on one of our most popular parts, the economical kit to convert a Mustang Hardtop into a Fastback. In discussions for this project, they came up with the idea of starting with a hardtop and converting it to a fastback with Golden Star’s parts, and that’s what they did. The crew at PG Customs & Bodies in Decatur, Texas, were happy to let us use their facility for this awesome build! "You can see that story here."
Many people prefer the look of a fastback Mustang to a hardtop, but if you’ve priced a good fastback Mustang lately - nice, rust-free examples are above $30,000. When factoring in that price, converting a hardtop to a fastback starts to look more attractive, and we have just made it an affordable option. We are not the first company to make replacement sheet metal for a fastback conversion, but we went a step farther than the rest by packaging every single piece of metal needed for the conversion into a kit that has just one part number. Easy process for ordering everything you need! That includes stamped and welded one-piece sides from the cowl all the way to the rear wheelhouse, plus the roof skin, braces, and all those little sheet metal pieces that the interior trim mounts to. This was an exciting build for us to sponsor! We are extremely impressed in how it turned out!
